Born in Upland California, Nancy's family moved to the east coast when she was seven years old. She is the youngest of six children and claims Shelton Connecticut as her home town.
Nancy's parents and grandparents were avid genealogist's. Her family tree & research is mainly focused on the United States and the British Iles, but she is always willing to find how to help people from all over the world and point them in the right direction. "I cannot remember a time when genealogy/family history was not a part of my life." She has spent the past 10+ years devoted to this hobby. Nancy has been a part-time missionary at the Brigham Young University Family History Library since August of 2018 and thinks it is the best!!! She works full-time as an Architectural Designer for BYU physical facilities. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, as well a Master of Public Administration at Brigham Young University. (Go Cougars!) In her spare time, she can be found on the golf course, in the garden, in the wood shop, biking and of course helping others doing family history. Nancy is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and currently resides in Lehi, Utah. |
Areas of Research
NORTH AMERICA / United States of America and Canada
From Census Records to Probate Records - I love to dig into available sources. There is so much available on-line. Remember to search records that have not been indexed yet! BRITISH ILES / England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland
These are the countries my family hails from, so I spend most of my time learning how to better do research in these countries. OTHER / There's a whole world out there
Let's face it - the reason I became a family history missionary is because I LOVE TO HELP PEOPLE. There are so many great resources out there. If I don't know the answer you are looking for, chances are I can find someone who does know. |
